Wellness Practices
Michelle Young (TA at ZMAINW) regularly leads our group through wellness practices at the beginning of our Tuesday classes. These practices consist of the following:
Mindfulness:
Self check-in (body, thoughts, emotions, spirit)
SUDS (how are you, scale 1-10?)
Breathing:
Long exhale (in 3, out 6)
Box breath (4-2-4-2)
Body calming:
Head hug
Tapping
Awareness:
Focus on breath
Focus on feet touching floor (or other body part)
